About this blog : Movies, Marketing and Culture are my favorite topics. I have a lot of credentials when it comes to writing about movies having worked in them, and to an extent in media. But I also love marketing and culture in general. Occasionally, you would see posts on these topics too.

My personal aspirations : I envision myself owning &running a Hollywood style studio in Andhra Pradesh, India’s second biggest movie market after Bollywood (or Hindi cinema). As a part of my personal ambition, in my lifetime I aspire to take Telugu cinema to newer audiences & frontiers. We have so many beautiful stories to tell, which showcase our great culture. The question is I ask myself is not, “How far would I go in Telugu Cinema?” but, “How far can I take Telugu Cinema to?”.

My “Shared dream” : My other personal wish is to see  Andhra Pradesh, my home state as India’s most progressive in social, economic and cultural factors. Better than national per capita GDP, average life expectancy,  internet, TV and mobile penetration, literacy rate, standard of living , happiness quotient of people,  everthing! We should be seen as a “role model” for our peer states. Also to see Hyderabad – my hometown evolve into a global city like New York, London, Seoul, Paris and Shanghai. Which means having great infrastructure like roads, shopping malls, airports and large skyscrapers. Being the home to many mega corporations that employ many people and own great wealth. Also, lots of  entertainment and leisure options for its residents like movies, themeparks, circus & nightlife – a city that lives 24/7. And most important, a unique culture of its own which its denizens are identified with. I wish to contribute to this in my own little way.
