Southscope March 2010 covers : A.R Rahman & Trisha Krishnan

Hi again! The latest copy of Southscope has hit the stands. Grab your copy from your nearest bookstore or sms SCOPE to 56263 to subscribe. Its a double issue again! Twice the goodness to readers, but double the work load for us at Southscope. Click on the images to enlarge. Our last issue featuring Allu Arjun and Tamannah was a sell-out. We increased out print run this month. Also, we’re now the “largest selling South film magazine” in English. Yes, we do have a competitor (as per market, not me). But our aspirations for Southscope are much larger. Hope you liked the latest edition. Do let me know your feedback on this issue.

Meanwhile, Trisha had unveiled the March edition of Southscope in a press event yesterday. Click here to see videos, photos of the event.

    @Sirish

    “NRI-lu andharu dollarlo sampastharu, kani rupaillo karchupedatharu!”

    as you mentioned above. i would like to inform u that i’m a student and doesn’t earn anything.

    i go to any movie on the first day. But wat disaapoints me is the quality of the theatre. Last year wen i was in india even watching an avg flick left me a good impression because of the quality of the theater. but here in US even a good movie can not be enjoyed because of the theaters u release.

    i usually watch movies in IMAX in US for $15. so, how can you say that it is worth to watch the movie in a non DTS theaters for $15. When i buy tickets at the counter the staff at the theater laughed at me saying that these guys pay more for their movies as even they know they are not worth for that theatre.

    So, i request you to ask the distributors to film the movie in good theaters than in worst theaters which don’t have any infrastructure .

    Hi Sirish,

    Nice to see your blog. I am a big fan of chiru from my childhood. I dont know the reason but i just love him. I hate those who hates chiru. After chiru come into politics the things are totally changed. I am scaring to see the news channels or news papers about the negative comments those idiots are doing on chiru. When ever it happened to see those type of idiotic news i am becoming totally disturbed.

    Our AP media is totally a crap and caste biased. They just need TRP ratings. I personally know how good chiru is. But this media succeeded in projecting him as a normal politician. My only request to you is please start a media either it will be a news channel or new paper from our side and try to project the truths about the blood bank and the good things done by chiru. Many people dont know how the blood bank serves the people and many dont know about how chiru is giving his services to tirupathi people as an MLA. Its already too late to start a media. With out proper media its nothing to think about politics.

    Please sirish.. not only me.. many chiru fans are helpless in helpling chiru. we became dumb for the crap which is publishing by our caste biased media. Any how sorry for talking about non related topic here. But i dont find any other place to tell you about my feelings. With out proper media its nothing to think about politics. I think you already know how much damage happened to chiru because of this media. There is no supporting platform to spread chiru’s voice to the common man then how people can recognize him as a good politician? Hope all things will be fine in future and we will be back and we will rock.

    Jai Chiranjeeva.
